FREE – Demystifying Student Loan Counseling

$0.00

While student loans allow consumers to pursue their quest for higher education, the cost continues to increase. Student loan debt has doubled since the Great Recession to nearly $1.6 trillion. In August of 2019, LendEDU released its report of the Average Student Loan Debt Statistics by School by State. The report revealed that the average borrower from the class of 2018, left the college campus with $28,565 in student loan debt, up from $28,288 that was owed by the average class of 2017 borrower. Millennials bear the highest student loan debt burden compared to any other generation, and with Gen Z close at their heels in joining the workforce; the fears of paying off student loans will only increase. Student loan debt continues to be a stumbling block for those wishing to become homeowners. In this 90-minute live webinar, we will provide an overview of the various types of student loans, the available options for consumers whose loans are in default and how to navigate the process when pursuing homeownership. This interactive presentation includes knowledge checkpoint and polling questions, reflective activities and helpful resource material. A test is required after the webinar to obtain a Certificate of Completion. Only those who log onto the webinar with their personal GTW links via the Internet and who actively participate throughout the session will be eligible to test.
